Radoslav Nesterovic started playing basketball in 1992 and he retired in 2011. He started playing basketball professionally after joining Partizan in 1992.
In 1993, he gained Greek citizenship and played for PAOK. Before joining the NBA, he played for different teams like Union Olimpija in 1995 and Kinder Bologna in 1997.
He joined the NBA after being selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1988 NBA draft.
After playing four full seasons, he was offered a 12 million dollar contract he opted out of the contract and joined San Antonio Spurs.
In 2003, he joined the Spurs where he won the NBA title.
Radoslav Nesterovic has missed several matches due to his ankle injury. On 21 June 2006, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors where he was named Nestea.
On 9 July 2008, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers but he returned to the Raptors on 30 July 2009.
