Born Carisa Zhavia Ward on March 6, 2001, her birthplace is Norwalk, California. This 18-year young singer was born to her mother Bobbi Jo Black. The name of her father is yet to be revealed. It seems her passion for music came from her parents. Since they were also into music.

Zhavia’s mother was a member of a metal band. But later, she became a hairdresser and businesswoman. Currently, she runs a beauty salon in Los Angeles. On the other hand, her father is also an R&B singer.

Her parents divorced when she was a child. She along with her mother and her siblings moved to another house between Norwalk and Monrovia. Talking about her siblings, she had two sisters (Poiema Victoria and Tabitha) and a brother (Pierce).
